The 2024 Francophone Run, one of the activities to celebrate the Francophone month of March, attracted over 1800 athletes of all ages. In this year, the Sustainable Development Goal 3 of the United Nations, "Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages," was chosen as the main theme of the event. With the name "Ensemble" (Together), the 2024 Francophone Run, through various activities, aims to become a gathering point to promote health and joy of living within the community.
In his opening speech, His Excellency Mr. Olivier Brochet, Ambassador of the French Republic to Vietnam, emphasized the significance of this event commemorating the 54th International Francophone Day. Beyond sports, the participation of athletes honored the values of compassion, dedication, and joy. This is also the value of the Francophone movement, an important aspect of International Francophone Day.
Participating in the Run, the IFI delegation includes staff, lecturers, and all international students of the Master's program in Information Technology, specializing in Intelligent Systems and Multimedia (SIM). With a focus on creating a friendly learning environment, combining classroom teaching with extracurricular activities, IFI always provides opportunities for students to participate in beneficial cultural and sports events, thereby enhancing their experiences during their studies in Vietnam.
In addition, at the IFI booth, there were also career counseling activities, opportunities for studying in French, access to internship programs, scholarships, student exchanges, as well as other short-term training programs.
